Don't tell me they are NOT trying to end this nation.

Isn't this precedent? I thought illegals being counted in doling out house districts was already the practice.

Vote totals dont reflect narrative comment.

Not even sure how this can be seriously considered. Surely the USSC will get a chance to hear this one. Maybe the senate will surprise me and not pass it.

“Equal Representation Act”
There is absolutely nothing equal about people coming here illegally and getting representation.
Unless it’s politicians (criminals) representing illegals aliens (criminals.)
That would make sense I guess

This is why they fought hard to keep Trump from changing the census form.
If they did not get to count them, then they would be more willing to deport them because they would not get tax dollars for them.

Need to know who the NVs are.

Meanwhile, Eyepatch McCain was on neocon Kilmeade's show today talking shite about Massie and raving about compromise. There is no compromising with people who treat politics as religion.

So was this vote about how people are counted for the census?

Your attention should be focused on local and statewide elections. That's where the impact is most likely to be felt and not in a way that helps the republicans.

Equal Representation Act
This bill requires any questionnaire used in the decennial census to include a checkbox or other similar option for respondents to indicate whether the respondent and each household member is a U.S. citizen.
The Department of Commerce must make public the number of citizens and noncitizens in each state.
The bill also requires that the statement sent by the President to Congress indicating the number of persons in each state (related to the reapportionment of U.S. Representatives) excludes noncitizens.

Oh, I don't like it in any event I'm just pointing out that there's no way the Dems are going to give TX a windfall of EC votes.

Will gerrymandering be allowed to help them win a seat in each state?

Got it. I’ll throw it out there that they might come out ahead because you’ve got California, New Mexico, Arizona (should be red but who knows)) as other border states. Then there are the seemingly nonstop stories of illegal kills, rapes and so on in states you don’t typically associate with illegal immigration. My working assumption when it comes to illegals and the dem support of it is because they know they will get the majority of their votes. The dems aren’t going to advocate for new voters that are going to turn on them. They aren’t that dumb and they have decades of history to call upon since Reagan’s amnesty.

Didn't the SC already drop the ball on counting illegals on the census?
We are going to need a modern 3/5 compromise here shortly.
