Kling should be the 3rd outfielder. I 100% agree. But he is a poor lead off hitter for SEC standards. No need to try and sell ourselves a lie as fans

I'm not advocating for him to lead off. I'm not overly concerned with line up construction in general as long as your highest OBP guys are clustered together.

Just adding some support for him being in the lineup in general.

Again, it's marginal, but when none of the players are separating themselves by outcomes, the differences are on the margins. And what Kling does with longer at bats and more sure defense has a larger positive effect on the team as a whole.

Outside of a few of us, most of us agree that he needs to be hidden in the 8-hole. I'm really not aware of anyone that wants to see him leadoff. And no one that is really serious gives much to this record when he bats leadoff stat.

No one on this team is a good leadoff hitter by SEC standards
