Since April 1st, Neal has slashed:

.281/.441/.876

9-32
6 HR
1 2B
11bb/10ks

This place would be going atomic if Alex Milazzo had homered 5x in his last 6 games and wasn’t in the lineup lol

Dude pokes a single up the middle & everyone gets hard

the problem is 3 of those last 6 are UNO, Grambling and NWST.

and he went 5/11 with 3 of those HR.

but he’s still 2/7 with 2 HR and 3 BB in his last 3 SEC games. thats that’s pretty good too.

he just can’t string 2 solid SEC games together.

MilazzGOAT isn't playing over Neal because of his hitting abilities, but you already knew that.

Since April 1st
.167 (3-18) in SEC 2 HRs
.428 (6-14) Non-Conf 4 HRs

I like Neal a lot. He's young and I think he's going to be really good, but he's not hitting SEC pitching consistently. If his defense was better, I'd be the first one screaming for him to be in the lineup.

Neal is definitely the future at C but he needs to tighten up his defense and prove he can hit SEC pitching. Feels like he might coming around at the plate.

As far as catching, Neal has 4 passed balls and 4 errors. Maybe some errors were in RF but I’ve seen him throw away a couple balls at catcher. Milazzo has 1 PB and zero errors. If you watch them receive it’s obvious Milazzo is the better catcher right now.
