How the frick is he in movies!!??
Is he good friends with someone who's worthy? Does he have nude pictures of a few directors or casting directors? This dude is NOT funny. He's ugly as hell and he comes across as a real dumbass. Just curious.

i don't see it either with him. There's times he's funny, but then it's the line that I enjoy, not his delivery. How he keeps getting work is mysterious. He's too ugly to be on the BBC.

He's not really a comedy actor...he was a serious actor for a long while and has been in a lot of excellent movies.
He got in with Will Ferrel and I guess maybe they just have good chemistry.
Personally, I like him.

I think he's great... in serious roles and comedy.
Try watching him agains in PT Anderson's films (Hard Eight, Boogie Nights, Magolia). Also, another good one he was in lately was "The Promotion", which not many saw.
