Wow.
Most schools, even back in the 80s, would have a small computer lab with an Apple or some other heavily discounted computer because those companies were trying hard to get the tech more widespread acceptance.

It appears that someone still thinks we are stuck in the “midnight basketball“ era of helping the less fortunate inner-city kids.
