According to this thread, the greens were messed up by some weed killer:

They are really messed up. Apparently, they received the funds to fix them up. I’m not sure of the timeline.

rounds are discounted to $45

5-6 temporary greens that are much shorter than original greens. The other greens were similar condition to last year.

It's a work in progress. Several temp greens, and funding approved. But it's moving slow and will take some time for them to get it right. Outside of them temp greens the other greens look to be improving and the rest of the course outside of the bunkers is pretty solid.

English turn greens weren't in great shape either. Playable but not great. Rest of course looked good

I have heard that they are losing their greens as well. Crazy.

I've played Audubon several times recently. It is in my neighborhood, so regardless of the conditions, I'm playing it since it is five minutes away. There are now numerous temporary greens -- seven if I recall correctly. From a layman's point of view, it is hard for me to see how it would not take several months to remediate the greens. Additionally, the bunkers are in horrible shape. Most are full of standing water. I wish I had better news to report.
