This is a bigger issue than most will admit. Basically have two generations of adults that don't know the difference between "needs" and "wants".

This will always be my take on it. I dont think the majority of millennials understand needs vs wants. I think you can still live relatively cheap if you're willing to sacrifice a bit and be uncomfortable at times. What percentages of millennials are making a sandwich or something cheap a few nights a week instead of something more expensive vs going out or god forbid uber eats. What percentage of millenials have a side hustle or two? My parents are comfortable now but damn did they struggle and work their arse off with multiple jobs. I think it should be a requirement for people constantly bitching about "boomers" to show their monthly budget. Because at the end of the day it will always be that it isnt about what you make, it's about what you spend.

Biggest problem with that? They don’t think. They’re actively discouraged NOT to think. Their smartphones have all the answers, which would be helpful if they could think of what questions they should ask.

Amen. I actually planned years ahead of time for my retirement, which is pretty much here already. I work as much as I want to now.

Ha. These snowflakes can’t even skip their $10k vacation to Disney world for a year.
