re: If they can make the tourney, it wouldn’t surprise me to see them play into a super.

See I think the opposite.

A regional is going to be harder for this team than a SR.

They could conceivably start 2-0 with Jump and Holman, then have to figure out how to win 1 of 2 against a top-16 team with this group.

Maybe.

But they’re not going to run into anyone tougher than A&M in a regional. If they catch a few breaks, they could punch through to a super.

This reminds me of last year when everyone was convinced that there wasn’t enough bullpen to get through a third game…right on thorough the CWS final game.

I’m not saying it’s probable. I’m just saying that it wouldn’t surprise me.

They have the guys in the bullpen to win it. They just havent been used correctly. You have to let Ack try to work through it in a game 3. You're gonna have to score runs, don't pull your starter just because of two walks. Then he left Dutton in 3 batters too long. And Moffett, Johnson, and Guidry should've been burned out today before going to Loer and Hurd.

Ulloa threw 17 pitches on Friday, Herring threw 39 Friday, and Guidry threw 3 yesterday. In a regional i also think Jay would've gone back to any of those guys before Loer and Hurd

Also I'm still holding out hope for Anderson
