Nah.. not for 99% of the jobs out there they won't because they won't look.
"Hey, this guy is applying for an entry level accounting job. Take his picture and do a reverse image search and see if anything turns up." That ain't happening.

If he has to go through the Woke filter of HR he will. If the resume goes straight to the person whose hiring then he’ll be fine, but HR actually kneecaps a company 90% of the time, but they have to have it because it would open them up to lawsuits if they didn’t.

This is 100%. I hire lots at a fortune 250 and we run the background check and may look at your social media before you’re brought on to make sure you’re not a psycho.

In all my 45-ish years of working I have never been photographed by a potential employer, including over 15 years in hospital work where photo ID is required. Only after officially hired have I had photos taken. (medical industry has tons of government personnel to keep checking every orifice . Of course that exists because of the really crazy people doing things like killing, maiming, non consensual experimentation on patients throughout history.)

That guy’s face is going to be everywhere and someone, somewhere, will always recognize him. It’s 2024.
It’s sad, and the kid doesn’t deserve to be screwed over because of it but, it was kind of a stupid thing to do that really made no sense and had no relevance. Stole the thunder from everyone else there who was just trying to make a mockery of pro-Hamas idiots who would be murdered in 5 seconds in Palestine.
