Now, I'll certainly admit DC has been the only consistently growing city on earth since WW2, because of the consistently growing administrative state.

But like CTH's thesis, the "patriot act" from the Neocon Rs has been turned onto DC's political enemies.

That has led unlawful behavior, and weaponized law unheard of in this country's history. The obvious double standard is leading to "flexible" law of whom has power.

Dangerous... and it is coming from the previous Obama administration who have filled Potato Joe's administration.
