I think the cheering is more related to the way they are protesting by threatening others, taking over facilities and grounds, and making demands.

Not sure why this has so many down votes. When it comes to speech, many on the right did a 180 when that speech was critical of Israel. There is no way to deny this. I think people are conflating the reaction to speech with the reaction to some of these campus protests that have clearly crossed the line in various ways. I don't think there is objection to action against protestors that infringe on others. The criticism is about the reaction to speech.

thats the funniest part. a bunch of hypocritical clowns in the "conservative" movement. pro life, okay with killing puppies. pro life, don't care about kids getting unalived by 500 pound precision guided munition and 155mm artillery rounds.
pro 1st amendment, until its things they don't like. these aren't BLM bullshite protests, some of it is legit. its just the boomers won't accept the fact that Israel is very unpopular with young people. even young conservatives are turned off by Israel now.
