Would have been fun seeing him develop under Wade at LSU. He was fun as hell to watch his freshman year.

Now my baw is taking these 1 year deals and bolting. LSU, Georgetown, Ole Miss, and McNeese.

Part of me respects it. Part of me is disgusted at what college sports has become.

I really don't know if Ewing and Beard just weren't able to develop him or if what he showed his freshman year was kind of all he had. I can believe it with Ewing, but I have a hard time believing that Beard couldn't get more out of him if there was more to get. His stats at Georgetown were pretty similar to LSU and then he went to Ole Miss and his minutes got cut and his production went to nearly nothing.

college sports has been ruined. Guys leaving in droves after every season, massive roster turnover every year. In some cases, guys put themselves up for sale every year.

The game I loved is gone.

This isn't college sports. Murray did this on his own. Leaving LSU after Wade was fired is fine, but why go to Georgetown where Ewing was almost certainly getting fired after the season? Then follow that up by going to Ole Miss without guarantees? And now he finishes up at McNeese? I can't believe there weren't better options.

I thought Murray was sure fire to get to the NBA when he was here.
