re: rust stabilizer/converter?

This stuff works and Harbor Freight carries it, or at least used to. It is easy, just pour up some in a plastic container and drop the parts in. It'll take a day or two, but it converts the rust. Just rinse, dry well, and paint or seal with clear. You can use it over and over again.


ETA: But it may not give the look you want. Try it with a test piece and see.
