4 day trip with small kids in June

What’s the board’s idea for a short, domestic trip in June with 3 small children?
Yes I know it’s a lot of work and money can be spent other ways. We’ve never let them stop us from traveling.
Just did Chicago last summer, and Disney world is out. Low humidity is a plus, and I really don’t care to do the beach.
Any ideas are appreciated

No beach, already did a city, how about Lake Tahoe?
If too much effort for the length of time, I'd think of similar places like that.

I recently did San Diego with kids.
Lots of stuff for them with the zoo, safari zoo, Disneyland, Legoland, etc etc.
Didn't mention because of the Disney reference but maybe you wouldn't mind those.
Maine is also a great low key spot. Also will be a huge break from southern June weather.
I went to Lake Tahoe in 2020, and what surprised me the most was how much of it was very old school. I had just figured the money had come in and knocked all the old stuff down a long time ago.

We did Tahoe at Thanksgiving in 2022. Was fantastic. The public parks around the lake are outstanding.

We went to the Smokey Mountains last year in June. Stayed in a cabin between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg,TN. Went to Dollywood which was the cleanest and nicest amusement park I've ever been to. Did a few touristy things in Pigeon Forge, walked across the suspension bridge in Gatlinburg, took an ATV mud riding trip through the mountains, rented an ATV, (you can drive them on the road, they are street legal, you can rent ones that will fit your whole family) and drove through Smokey Mountain National Park and went white water rafting. Overall, we had a great time, the weather was great. My boys were 20 and 16 but there is a lot you can do with small kids. There are several dinner shows, I wish I would have gone to one, just ran out of time.
Now with all that being said, it is a tourist trap area but I didn't mind, crowds weren't bad and if you don't like the touristy stuff that's ok, the scenery is beautiful and you can find lots of things to do. Wherever you go, enjoy your time with your family, they grow up quick!

Colorado-Breckenridge or Estes depending on if you want to do a national park or not.
