My good buddy, Rich, was there in 2022 and threw $100 on Rich Strike to win for shites n giggles because it was his name. That 80-1 payout was nice. He’s back there again this year. Wish I could’ve joined them but a toddler now makes it a lot harder than it used to be when I went 4 times as I pleased.
Ironing out my picks/bets now and loading my Twin Spires account with cash money. After a few drinks later and track condition update, I’ll put them in.
Gonna be a great day today. Crawfish boil rolling into derby, rolling directly into Nuggets game 1. Wife gave me a hall pass for all of it.
