Watched that yesterday with my boy. Still solid.

I guess I’m technically more of an 80s kid (born in ‘79), so a good bit of those movies are a no for me.

Hocus Pocus
Casper
Goofy Movie
Parent Trap
Matilda

None of those would make the post for me. And Space Jam is decent, but I was a little old for it I think. But I get why it’s on the list.

Agreed - I know my wife and her friends would probably say Hocus Pocus is a reasonable pick but none of these others would have any following whatsoever among my peer group

Exactly what I was thinking. I was born in 1980 and have no affection for those movies you listed.

Jurassic Park is of course a huge movie but seems out of place on this list of kid movies. Everybody loved Jurassic Park, not just teens. Might as well also have T2 and Independence Day and Braveheart.

For someone born in the early 90s I agree with your post except for A Goofy Movie. Everyone I knew at that time was obsessed with A Goofy Movie. The others are solid movies but weren't cult classics for my school grade.

It's almost like everyone is forgetting there is another species on this planet, you know, the female one. They got to have some movies in a list.
