Not everyone who lives a different life than you or has different beliefs is a moron.
On the flip side, sounds like noem lives in a rural bubble and doesn't understand that most Americans wouldn't shoot a dog in a ditch nor would think kindly of someone that does.

Agreed and I’ve said as much in this thread.
The PR fallout is a separate issue from whether her actions were OK.
And depending on her national ambitions, it may not matter.
This is a nonissue in South Dakota, but may be an issue in other circumstances.
