They had all those guys available. They were able to get a pick 38 spots better and then get an additional pick to still have options at 3 of the guys above. There is just no way anyone with any draft knowledge would say they didn’t play it well. There just wants pressing differences or clear separation in the group above. And if you want to be technical, the overall highest rated guy from above is actually still there
Once BT Jr was off the board but no other WRs went before the bills, the play for them was obvious

The problem is targeting a WR, I reckon.
When you push a need-based projection onto that trade scenario, you lose any value you got with the trade down (which wasn't much, I don't believe).
