Should the universities and their faculty be held accountable for the violence?

I've been watching some vid clips of the young skulls full of mush on various college campuses protesting the Israelis/Hamas shite show and it's pretty clear these naive young adults are getting their inspiration to protest from their college professors, of course the demonstrators are 99% pro Hamas.
If this shite spirals out of control should the universities and faculty be held accountable for destruction of property, personal injury and possible death, because it's likely to follow?

So the universities provided the means of supporting these students and enabling their opinions, and they should be held responsible if it escalates to violence is your stance, correct?
I fully agree
Let’s take this further though. Benjamin Netanyahu and the controlling Likud party in Israel propped up Hamas and gave them the means to retain power. He mistakenly thought he could “control the height of the flame” and contain them, but obviously that failed.
By this reasoning, is it not Netanyahu and his political allies who bear the responsibility for the events of October 7th?
For years, Netanyahu propped up Hamas. Now it’s blown up in our faces

When will insurance stop paying out to this shite?

Universities and the administrative/support staff that allows it, yes absolutely.
The faculty, not so much. Are there liberal arts professors beating the drums and fanning the flames of the rhetoric, sure, but there are a whole lot more of us just trying to teach science/math/engineering without letting politics enter in to it. We can only do what the administration allows.
If faculty joins the protests, as is their right, and things go sideways, they’re on their own and have to deal with the ramifications as anyone participating would.

If the Israelis want to hold Netanyahu responsible over in Israel that's their prerogative, I'm only concerned with a Summer Of Love Redux all over the US on dozens of college campuses which could spread into the general public.

I think it will be quite easy to identify the bad actors among the each university's faculty, we'll begin in the humanities, philosophy, sociology and political science ranks.

Was there any violence perpetrated by the anti-war protesters in the 60's?

The weather underground and black panthers were extremely anti war, as were virtually any radical leftist collectivist group

That’s coming one way or another and it has nothing to do with Israel.

What was the triggering event for protests in the 1860s?
