I’d recommend doing some research, as stated tacoma world is a great resource.

Old Man Emu is a brand, 886 is their heavy coil springs meant to carry a winch and bumper up front. They also sell a rear leaf spring called Dakar which his what I have. I got about 2” out of my setup after it settled.

JBA is a brand who makes the upper control arms. Many different choices out there.

Like I said, I installed my lift 10 years ago now and still rolling it. Maybe some better choices out there now idk.

yeah definitely do the research, i went with Dobinsons due to ih8mud forum some guys having OME start squeaking. OME and Dobinson are both Australian and they put those trucks though hell and back. I would stay away from icon, had two buddies have to send shocks in to get rebuilt before two years on the trucks.

It can all get overwhelming, and like all things what's your goal and what's your budget are the biggest factors in what direction you decide to go.

Then I suggest you go to a shop that specializes in 4x4 mods and just tell them what you're end result expectation is. They will walk you though it.

I recently traded in a 2012 Tacoma that I put a 2" lift on with the help of two friends. It wasn't bad at all.

Leaf spring spacers in the back with longer ubolts and Bilstein shocks. In the front I used strut spacers.

Anything taller than 2" on the 2nd gen Tacos and you have to buy a kit to slant the transfer case so that the front drive shaft angle isn't too extreme.
