Again…. You don’t understand the concept of jurisdiction. They aren’t going to pay the money to find this guy (who is leaving the state) and have him served. It will cost more than what they are seeking. Stick to IT.

Again, did the Baw say he lives in Louisiana? How many apartments charge $2,900 in Louisiana? Stick to IT.

Also, most courts lean to the side of the tenant and it sounds like these goons tried to hit him with a huge fee that was never discussed. The court won’t like that and you are basically wrong on every conclusion you have made.

He didn’t say where he lived, I just looked up Louisiana filing fees for reference to all.

Sounds like he initially agreed in contract to pay the entirety of the contract, even if he leaves early. The apartment complex offered him to spend less than the full amount so they could recover their losses of not having a tenant for a couple months. He will have also lied about his future address to hide where he is, court doesn’t like that much either….almost admitting guilt

I definitely will! Thanks.

I’d change professions if I were you. You sound like someone that would advise clients to cheat on taxes and tell them it’s okay, the government never comes after tax money

You don’t have to “serve” people in small claims court. The production company takes care of all that.
