He would have showed more leadership and restraint than either Trump or Biden, 100%.
I would have gladly voted for DeSantis and I think he would have been a good president, but he didn’t win the nomination, and no amount of sour grapes will change that.

I know, at least this is my case, I decided to back Trump more because of the endless attempts to convict him by the Left. I don’t think I’m the only one motivated by this.

What “censorship” would that be?
You mean the one where 3rd graders aren’t given books about how to give a blow job?
That censorship?

For me, its a reason for sympathy, not a vote.
Because he will continue racking up massive debt.
How are we going to deal with debt?

Love Gov D and I’m confident there’ll be another day for him.
But it’s Trump or Biden at this time now.
We can’t afford another 4 years of Progressive Democratic policies.
Look at how much everything has slid to absolute shite status and imagine another 4 years of it.
I’m a never-Dem. Go Trump.

You're addicted to guys who spend the first term campaigning for the second.

Much more recent than that. Trump is 1990s Bill Clinton down to the campaign slogan.

He would have been Mike Johnson on fairy dust.
He already sold out to the globalist.

Good luck dealing with the next 4 years. Youre not going to like it, but you folks can always blame the other guy, like you always do.

It's almost like that was the Democrats plan.
Step 1 - use indictments to boost Trump
Step 2 - use trials to bleed Trump's campaign funds
Step 3 - use trials to take Trump off campaign trail
Step 4 - convict Trump
Step 5 - force a GOP civil war at the convention
Step 6 - we're fricked

You're general sentiment is valid, but your execution and timing is bad.
That time has passed, let it go, and stop acting so butthurt over it.

I agree.
But thats exactly what we will get, regardless of who wins.
Trump has fully embraced MMT.

For a people who think the Deep State controls all, they sure missed this point.

All he had to do was win the nomination

So the Deep State wants Trump to win, or simply to be the candidate?

Roger, you may still get some of that with Trump but I guarantee you’ll get 100% of it with Biden/the Progs.
Live to fight another day and go with who you can at least find commonality on some things (unless you’re saying you agree with absolutely zero policies Trump ever did/does).
The “screw it” point of view only further cements the likelihood that there be nothing left to preserve if another traditional conservative ever makes it in to the WH someday.
