I don't think their numbers are far off.
A 3bd/2bth mortgage in a decent area
A "new" used middle of the road vehicle every 5-7 years.
Enough savings rate to dodge CC debt on unforeseen stuff.
1-2 <$3k vacations/year
10% to a 401k.
That seems like a pretty fair assessment of living comfortably
