No other country has a cemetery here, but we have cemeteries there.

And most of our current leaders don't give a damn what all those men and women died for.

They are trashing everything.

It may or may not have something to do with the fact that no other country has expended tens or hundreds of thousands of lives fighting wars on our soil for our benefit.

I also don't believe this is true. France, Belgium, and the Netherlands are pretty serious about maintaining the US cemeteries located there.

As sort of alluded above, we haven't had an invading force on our soil (officially) in over 200 years. I'm not sure what you might expect, or what this melt? is about.

There are 4 British sailors buried on Ocrakoke Island in North Carolina. The land was officially ceded to Great Britain so they could be buried on British land.
