Wrong, it’s best long term to be in the playoffs for player development.

What about organization development and making necessary changes??? Lets be honest we know who Herb and Trey are- we’ve seen them in this environment. Dyson is the only guy. Hawkins wont even play.

And to top it off, look at Griffs history in the draft, the 14 pick matters when he’s taking players like Kira at 13 lol? Or passing on Garland for players like Jaxon at 8?

So now higher pick doesn’t matter because Griff has had some bad picks? If thats the case we should just do what Dell Demps does and trade every pick (which a higher pick matters in trading it too).

That’s on coaching then. If we have no shot at winning the series, Griff should tell Willie to trot him out there for the experience.

You losing the argument so moving the goal posts. I did not say to trade the pick, but moving down a few spots isn’t as big a deal as you make it. Maybe Griff takes Maxey if Kira was off the board that year if we have a later pick.

And it’s not some bad picks. History has shown Griff has missed a lot more with first round picks than he’s hit so it doesn’t matter. I don’t count Zion because any monkey in a suit was taking him.
