I think the ideal situation is we trade CJ or BI for KAT. BI makes more sense for the TWolves so let's say he goes out.

Why would the Wolves do this?

The Wolves are in a salary crunch and most people think they have to get off of one of KAT or Gobert this offseason, with the vast majority of people thinking they'll get off of KAT.

Agreed, I don't see why MIN would do this.

This season showed them they can work very well with the KAT/Gobert fit, so I don't see why they would opt to make a KAT for BI deal.

Plus, if anything, MIN is going to shed salary this season so this kind of swap just doesn't seem to make sense for them.

IMO upgrading from Jaden McDaniels while saving salary is a win from them. Have Naz Reid on a solid contract and now have some breathing room to get a back-up 4/5 or a starter and keep Reid coming off the bench with some versatility.

Not saying the Wolves would easily due it, but not crazy that they would consider it especially if we throw a pick or 2 at them.
