The Gentlemen - Netflix

Two episodes in, I'm hooked. Typical Guy Ritchie - very British-centric with a nod toward the underworld / mob type stuff, and some dark comedy thrown in. And Kaya Scodelario ain't too tough to look at. It's worth a watch.

I enjoyed it a lot. One of the best shows I have watched this year.

My apologies. Anyone know how to reach Chicken's Help Desk? I searched "The Gentlemen" and came up with bollocks.

Works much better than the search function here.

I imagine the show is the same as the movie, but I LOVED the movie. Was very well done

Netflix needs to rethink its binge format and start releasing some of its top tier shows weekly. This is a great example of when a show can generate word of mouth hype with each episode.

I told a buddy in confidence that this was a Guy Ritchie movie and that there wasn’t a show like he thought he saw somewhere.
Guess ill have to watch the show this week and text him an apology.
Thanks for sharing. The movie was an all-timer for me.

as of now, it's my favorite thing in 2024 on small or big screen. nailed from so many perspectives.
my wife hated the end of the first episode (understandably... it went there) but hung around reading her kindle and piping in to every single episode from there on out and was fully engaged in the finale.
it was solid, top to bottom.

Appointment viewing works. I still haven't finished this show yet, despite liking what I've seen so far. I just keep forgetting about it though I mean to get back into it. Sure, that says something about me, OK. But a good show like this needs more word of mouth. So many trash shows that got canned are still talked about while this still exists in the background.
