98% plus of attendees at a sporting event are not "reflecting on the importantance..."

They are simoly standing or singing along out of respect for tradition.

Landry does not have the honesty. humility or brain cells to simply apologize for a truly stupid effort to earn cheap political points at the expense of the State's Flagship school. He does not believe he is capable of error.
