The sod was yellow when they installed it on 4/17. The installers said Bermuda hasn't really greened up yet.

I've been watering early morning and early afternoon. I check the soil under the sod and it's moist, but not wet. Should I be watering more?

I didn't water at all yesterday since it stormed all day. Should I water today at all? Just worried about overwatering.

Also, is it weird that the sod is still yellow? Or has it just not been hot enough really?

It should have greened up by now at the sod farm. The yellowing may have been because it sat for a few days before installing.

That said, no need to worry. Try to stay off of it so you don’t disturb the rooting process. If you got a lot of rain water yesterday then that’s great. If you don’t water today, be sure to water tomorrow.

Don’t water. It rained for 12 straight hours yesterday. Do you know how long it was from cut to laid? My yard is at 90% green up and I’m in dfw.
