I’m not suggesting they will be bad. But I’m not getting excited about them beating our defense in a spring game.
Then what you want them to do, lose to our defense in the spring game? Or, we should have called in Bama's defense for the LSU spring game. It is what it is

Listened to Coach’s wrap up of the game
Said he mainly uses it to see how guys perform on the “big stage” compared to practices
Liked how the OL controlled line of scrimmage
Running game was solid
Nuss and Lacey solid
CJ daniels and Zavion Thomas getting more comfortable and may have tried to do too much when first got here.
They know they have to improve at the DT position and are actively recruiting there. Feels good about the longer term future there with Bo recruiting but knows they have to get better there immediately
Have to sort out and get better at QB2
Reliford played well against 2’s. Has now earned moving up and will start going against 1’s to see how he does against Campbell and Jones.
Pumped the breaks on Kylin Jackson. Did good job covering tight end but they still want to see how he does against run game. Also the main thing needed regarding him is consistency off the field. Improving there but still a work in progress. If people recall, that was the issue at Zachary so hopefully he keeps making improvements there.
Punter had opportunity to separate himself but didn’t
DB’s can’t bust coverages or will look at other players
MCBride, PJ, and Reliford doing really well as young players

Only thing I see holding Kylin Jackson back. Loved him coming out of high school
Needs to get aligned with the quickness.

Disappointed that there wasn’t an opportunity for youngsters to meet the players. I brought two 7 year olds who love football, and getting a chance to meet some players and maybe get an autograph or two would have really capped off the day.

We used to be called DBU for a reason.
