I changed the battery on all mine because it was beeping plus it’s hardwired

I replaced put new batteries in there It still keeps beeping.

I pulled the battery out and just did the hardwire and it beeps the same

Any suggestions of what’s wrong with this? FYI they are seven years old.

Built my house in 2017 and the exact thing happened. This is the 2nd time - crazy beeping, jumping out of bed at 3 AM both times. As I'm, 10' up in the air trying to change the battery - still beeping. I can hear my 2 dogs whining from bedroom, as in "hey can you hurry it up in there" ..ended up unplugging 3 of them.

Many newer homes, you wire with a black, white, red and ground. The extra wire ties all the other alarms in together. If one goes off, they all do.
