Worked at the Green Bay Packers training camp back in the summer of 93. Met or saw almost all the players that year. Reggie White just signed. Mark Clayton was in camp that summer. Matt Turk (all pro punter was an undrafted punter that yr. I shagged balls for him). Sat in an office and talked with Andy Reid for 30 minutes or so.
Ty Detmer and Mark Burnell were the back up QB’s.
Sterling Sharpe was there but was advised not to ask him for autograph, did get one though but thru my uncle.
Favre

As a kid met a number of players from the LA Rams. Eric Dickerson, the Youngbloods, Jackie Slater

Everyone in horse racing that you’ve heard of.

I’m sure there are others I’m forgetting. I’ve cooked for most of those, too.

And if you’re really into chefs:

Paul Bocuse
Thomas Keller
Jean-Georges Vongerichten
Eric Ripert
Jacques Pepin
Ferran Adria
Alain Ducasse
Daniel Boulud
John Besh
Leah Chase
Alex Stupak
Daniel Humm
Marc and Larry Forgione
Bobby Flay
Cat Cora

ETA-didn’t even consider athletes. Too many to list. Tiger probably being the most famous.

Jon Daly at the Belle Chasse Hooters bar probably almost 20 years ago while the Zurich Classic was going on. Had no idea who he was at the time until the waitress told me after they left. Still had no idea until later on. Super nice guy and could really put down some alcohol. We had a good conversation.

I was behind Herm Edwards in line at Starbucks in IAH Terminal B. He didn't look like he wanted to talk to anyone so I didn't try to talk to him. Exchanged nods and went our separate ways.

Met the Teutuls in NOLA when the Discovery/Chopper thing was big. Paul Sr was an a-hole. Paul Jr was super nice, but you could tell he was tired and stressed.
