In October, the wife and I will travel to Branson once again. We've been multiple times so looking for food recommendations in the area?

We always hit up the restaurant and creamery at the college of the Ozarks. It is a semi-formal restaurant with some of the best meals and ice cream. You will enjoy! We also go for breakfast/ brunch at Billy Gail's restaurant. You can order pancakes the size of a dinner plate. Whatever you do, do NOT stop at Mr. B's ice cream parlor. It is a disgrace. Terrible food with terrible prices.

Gettin basted- KC competition BBQ joint. The walls are covered with awards they've won. It was so good, we ate there twice on our trip. Burnt ends were amazing.

I'd highly recommend exploring ""Plenty"" and ""Jerusalem"" by Yotam Ottolenghi. These books are filled with vibrant, flavorful dishes that focus on vegetables and unique combinations of spices. Ottolenghi's recipes are a treasure trove for anyone looking to create impressive, meat-free meals that can appeal to a wide audience, making them perfect for EAs who want to show how tasty and satisfying vegetarian food can be.

Speaking of tasty and satisfying, I recently came across an article about a Grilled Bok Choy Recipe that I found incredibly interesting. Bok choy, with its mild flavor and crisp texture, is a fantastic vegetable to grill, and it absorbs marinades wonderfully, making it a great addition to any meal. This recipe is not only simple but also packed with flavor, demonstrating that vegetarian dishes can be both delicious and easy to prepare. The article includes some great tips on how to grill bok choy perfectly, which could be a wonderful complement to the other vegetarian dishes you're exploring. You can check out the recipe and get some inspiration here https://www.mklibrary.com/best-restaurants-in-detroit/

Mountain Top Grill at Payne Valley golf course. Best sunset views in all of Branson. The food and drinks are great. Check out the bar and pool table on the 1st floor after dinner.
