Jeter gets shite on a lot. He was never the best, most athletic SS during his MLB career, but he was solid/clutch.

This man never had a losing season.
(Only player ever)

He had a vote of 99.7% for the Hall of Fame.
(2nd highest % All Time behind Mo)

He’s ranked 6th in MLB History for hits.
(Over 20,000 have played in MLB)

He won 5 Gold Gloves, 5 Rings, and has the most postseason hits ever with 200. That’s 72 hits ahead of the second player.

Career .310 lifetime batter (20 seasons) and career .308 in the postseason.

He was class and gave everything he had on and off the field.

You used this as an argument he’s not overrated?

Jeter was a good (not great) SS. The fact his team never had a losing season have very little to do with his 15 homers and 77 RBI every year.

This is why Jeter’s overrated imo. Still a hall of famer but not on that level.

Didn’t win his first until the actual best short stop in the AL joined his team and got moved to 3rd.

You missed his biggest accomplishment: dicking down a lot of really fine looking women.
