I said since 2021 I had no idea why they fought so hard b/c 20-24 was going to be a shite sandwich due to all the Covid spending under Trump.
You can tell they knew they fricked up after they passed 2 huge spending bills early and then haven't really mentioned anymore since inflation started hitting in 22. MMT was like "this only works if you control inflation" and it's clear they don't have the bullets to do so.
When was the last time we heard real pushes across coordinated DEM outlets for things like the Green New Deal?
