Well I definitely believe Neal should be 3rd in catching rotation based on his .111 SEC batting avg and his inability to field the position. Curious Naptime what are the 2 reasons u think JJ is playing Neal?

Not Naptime, but he generally plays Neal because he bats left handed and we are facing a rightie on the mound.

We lack left handed hitters. Pearson and lately Larson give us two and Milam switches. JJ likes to load up with lefties against righties. Before Larson emerged, when Brown was injured we only had Milam and Pearson.
