I book marked this to show to my wife later tonight

I already told her to breathe, it doesn't have to be perfect.

She wanted to hire another photographer for this event, after we just paid like $1200 for 45 minutes worth of pictures last month.... we had a come to jesus moment about all of this. She's too infatuated with facebook and shite and the 'likes'.

Who gives a shite if we got 300+ likes on a picture, we just have a lot of facebook friends, it's not important.... but spending time with the family is to me.

Been there, done that. Honestly can't give any advice on the postpartum or social media obsession (see me being single and seeing my son 1/4 of the month). I didn't (still don't) get the obsession with sharing, or need to hire a professional to take pictures that will be off the wall and in a scrap book when more recent photos are required. Photographer or not, over the top decorations and cake or not, 'perfect' or not, little man is gonna love that taste of sugar and once he digs in everyone will focus on that and only that. Outside of "OMG, Manders, it looks amazing :hearty eyes:" that the person posting won't remember in 6 months, and other similar posts it won't matter to anyone but you and Manders and the grandparents. He won't remember it, and superficial FB friends don't actually give af except to try and one up when they have theirs. So frick them and y'all make sure to remember the ups and downs, sleepless nights, and everything else y'all have been through in the past 18-20 months when y'all started y'alls little family. As clueless as y'all might be, and as often as you wonder if you will make it out with all three surviving, y'all are doing great and just remember it's about you 3 this weekend when all is said and done. It's your family, your celebration, other frickers opinions shouldn't mean a damn thing.
