Let’s pick the #1 team ( Ark ) in comparison. Which starters would start for Arkansas:
Any of the catchers … No
Jones …. Maybe
Milam ….. No
Braswelll ….. Hell No
White ….. Yes
Larson…… No
Kling……. Hell No
Pearson….. No
Holman…. Maybe Sunday starter
Jump ….. No
Herring…. Maybe relief
Any other pitcher ….. Hell No

What say you ?
I think it’s time to take P&G glasses off and quit talking about all of the talent LSU has !!

Okay? Arkansas usually has better talent. This isn’t anything new.

Would our starting shortstop start at Sacramento State?

Would our CF and LF start at Mizzou?

Would our Catcher start at Texas Tech?

Would our DH start at Tarleton State?

Would our 1B start at Richmond?

Because if you did this last year, you'd say that none of Arkansas' current starters could play at Arkansas.

OP took one of Arkansas's most complete team under DVH and compared them to an LSU team that is struggling after a championship to say LSU doesn't have talent

Not trying to throw shade on Arkansas, but I do not think they are as good as their ranking and stats. Majority of their SEC slate has been at home so far and currently their series wins have been over Mizzou, Ole Miss, LSU, and Auburn. Hell for as bad as we have played, we had a legit shot in all 3 games.

Those schools are a combined 12/36 in league play and are the bottom 3 of the West and bottom of the East. Arkansas has had a cakewalk to start the year in the SEC.

maybe a Sunday guy?

have you actually looked at Holman's numbers?

2nd in SEC in ERA (amongst starters)
2nd in SEC in opponents batting average
2nd in SEC in innings pitched
2nd in SEC in strikeouts (1st in SO looking)
2nd in the SEC in wins

he's hands down the 2nd best starter in the league right now.
and you think he could maybe be the 3rd guy at Arkansas?

so decided to pull up Arky's stats on the season.

all 3 of our catchers have higher BA than their best catcher does.
2/3 have higher slugging %
Travinski and Neal each have more homers than all of their catchers do combined
Travinski and Neal each have more RBI than all of their catchers do combined.
Neal has thrown out as many attempted base stealers as their entire team combined.

so considering you whiffed completely on the only 2 positions I even halfway bothered to check, I'm not going any further down your list.

You don't like this team, we get it. Now if you could just shut up and go away.
