There's a hearing scheduled for 4/22, and Trump would likely get another 10 days after that hearing to find someone else to post the surety bond.

The bond he put up is almost certainly getting thrown out, BTW. The company isn't incorporated in NYC, they don't have enough cash reserves, their financial statements are not audited, their ratings are insufficient, etc. Trump can get another bond, but the one he has is almost certainly getting bounced.

The hilarious thing is the prosecution already looks corrupt. Regardless if the bond should be thrown out it does create the sense that Trump is trying to comply with the stupidity. This just creates a confirmation in the average non-crazy person that the government is continuing to be corrupt.
