I don't understand why this is even going to trial.

It sounds like he continued his tubing trip after.

He also lied his arse off to the cops about what happened from what I was reading earlier. He tossed the knife in some bushes off the bank, when the police found him he acted like he had no idea anyone got stabbed and then later said he took the knife from one of the boys (before he knew there was video). Not great if you’re looking for self defense…

He brought that on himself based on what he told police after being arrested.

Interestingly though they didn't charge him with tampering with evidence which they absolutely could, and should, have based on him tossing the knife into the woods after the stabbings.

At first I thought the same

Apparently, he didn’t simply just look for a phone. He reached into the kids pockets and such “looking for the phone”

Still don’t think there is anyway he is guilty

The yellow shorts dude he stabbed is clearcut self defense. But it's hard to see or you can't see all of it, but he stabbed 4 more people, so I'm wondering if it's for those stabbings or is it for murder?

He should not get anything for the dude that died, just not sure about the others.

Because as always, there are more elements to the case than what’s on the headline.
