I do too. However, when the university allows some flags then allow them all.
I am going to play the rules they allow.... They had no problems with this.
That photo appears to be taken on the street. Quite a different equation on conduct done on the street vs. inside of a baseball game. One is a public forum while the other is at best limited public forum

If you read the rules, you can ask for approval to bring in banner/signs. I'm guessing the first pic was pre-approved since it is of significant size and involved a lot of coordination to display.
The second pic is of people in a parking lot somewhere, possibly of at an event? Definitely not in an Arkansas stadium.
Also, not sure how I'm being hypocritical...you may be looking for another word or talking about someone else?

So now you are advocating that there is a limit to what the University of Arkansas will allow free speech? "Can do it here, but not here."
Is that your stance?

I have no stance - this is not an opinion. I just looked up the rules and there are clearly stadium rules and the trump flag was in the stadium. I'm not sure we have to take this to the parking lot.
Look bro, I get it that you want Maga people to be victims and cry about being treated unfairly, but so far this doesn't look like it fits considering there was a rule in place and the flag violated that rule.

Or they could seek prior approval:
A requirement to seek “pre-approval” from the government to engage in political speech is patently unconstitutional.
Definitely on point for someone who supports the Biden Administration though. After all, Biden’s administration was ordered by the federal court in Monroe to quit censoring speech on social media.

Yes, please research public forums vs. limited public forums

Loving the respect for the police.. maga protesters back the blue by throwing wadded up trash for them to recycle..
Regardless of the flag and its point of view ….youth of today love to disrespect the blue ..attempt to provoke them and record it all on their phones..
Tiger stadium students act the same fwiw ….

Which is an issue in and of itself.

Stadiums belong to and are a part of what?
Say it.

Does the parking lot belong to U of Ark?

Hey man, I'm just showing you the rules of the Arkansas stadium and probably most public university stadiums in the country. I'm not providing an opinion.
Also, if you really think your freedom of speech permits you to say and display anything in a university stadium, I would suggest you don't know free speech and its limits.

Limited public forum simply allows the government to set limits on activity that can occur. An airport is a perfect example of a limited public form. Once the government allows certain speech inside though, like signs or banners, then it cannot start censoring signs simply for expressing a political viewpoint the government disagrees with. Of course, there are limits to this as well, you could validly require obscenity to be removed, but a Trump 2024 flag doesn’t come close to this.

Damn commies won't even allow us fans to fly our TRUMP flag while standing in the batters box during the top of the 3rd inning

That may be the case and that would be an argument that University is unequally applying the rules and maybe they're being hypocritical.

No, you were proposing that the students engage in unconstitutional pre-approval from the government prior to expressing a political opinion.
The “rules” clearly do not prohibit flags or banners and, even if they do, those haven’t been enforced.
Again though, it’s on brand for someone who supports Biden, since his administration decided to engage in systematic censorship of political viewpoints until a federal court ordered them to stop.

No maybe about it. Which is the issue.

An airport is a nonpublic forum. (Lee v. International Society for Krishna Consciousness)
The gov can make content based regulations in limited public forums but not viewpoint based regulations.

Nope, I was pointing to the stadium rules which provided for a pre-approval route.

It's one or the other, pal, and the rules as screen-shot and linked do prohibit flags and banners.
