This team has played well for the majority of the season
They're a play in team as it stands.

Sorry, but I'm not terribly impressed by that.

The way I see it, these are the scenarios:

- If we're in the play and get bounced in round 1 - This season is an abject failure

- If we're in the play in but win 1 round - This season didn't exactly go on the right track but a playoff series win is a strong finish. I wouldn't say it's a rousing success, but it's a plus for sure

- If we finish in the top 6 and lose in round 1 - Same as directly above. Not a failure, but not a huge success. It's a plus, it would just be a very small plus IMO if it's exactly the 6 seed, as to me that is the barest of bare minimums for the season to not be a failure

Ultimately, success and failure is defined in the playoffs. However, for a franchise such as ours, getting to around 50 wins just doesn't happen often.

If we get bounced in the first round, yeah I'll be disappointed, but I'm not going to shite on them for what has been a good season.
