Atlanta is not majority minority anymore.
And thanks for letting everyone know that you're a racist.

Of course there is a difference depending on highway and time of day but “wide open” is a ridiculous statement.

I’m not talking about the metro area. I’m talking about the city proper. It’s ok you don’t like Atlanta it’s certainly not perfect and not for everyone. I feel the same way about New Orleans. It’s a total shithole devoid of anything good at this point. It’s ok to not like certain cities.

What part of Metro Atlanta?
And ronricks is right. The population of Atlanta proper has gentrified so much the last 20 years that it's no longer majority-minority

Where do you live?
In the mornings I’m going 80 mph Mon Wed Fri on 75 and 85 while people are going 15 mph coming inbound. In the afternoons I’m going 70 mph southbound while people are going 20 mph northbound. It’s been this way ever since I moved to the city. Sorry you have different experiences.

I live in Cherokee county and I absolutely love it

Cherokee.
Travel all over the city. 75 is never going 80mph in any direction. Never.
Going across 285 to 85 north to Braselton in the morning is not going 80. 316 to Athens in the morning is crap.
Are these worse going the other way? Yes.
And weekends are worse in every direction.

This is where knowing the surface streets inside the city can make a huge difference.
I visited my sister 2 Fridays ago. She lives in West Midtown off of Howell Mill. When I left her place, I was.going to get on 75 at Howell Mill. Nope. It was clogged and not moving. So I immediately use the service road to get to Northside Drive, take that to Marietta St, through Downtown to Courtland and through Georgia State, turn onto Capitol Ave.just before Grady, and get back on the Connector at Washington St. Home in 45 minutes.
It helps tremendously to know surface Streets. Nobody takes the time to do so.

Cherokee County is great.
I'd like to retire somewhere along the 515 corridor. (Jasper, Ellijay, Blue Ridge)

Good thing I’m not going that way and never mentioned those. You don’t have a reverse commute to ANYWHERE living all the way out in Cherokee. That was the whole point of my comment about living in the city. What do I have to gain about lying about a reverse commute? From the city core 75, 85, and 400 are WIDE OPEN going north in the mornings. I’ve been doing it for over 2 decades and I wouldn’t even live where I do if I didn’t have a reverse commute.
