Ive rented them 3 times. Did a 4000 mile road trip from BR to Carlsbad Caverns, White Sands, Cloudcroft, Saguaro NP, Sedona, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Painted Desert, Petrified Forest, Route 66, and back to BR. Was a fun trip

How long was the trip? Did you feel like it was enough time? What was the rough itinerary?

My niece has announced that if we win the lottery we will be living the RV life. My sister and I would prefer an nicely decked out Sprinter van for comfort while driving and then staying at hotels most nights. Could still bunk in the camper every now and then if we wanted to.

I think it was 10 days. We covered a lot of ground but it was just the two of us trying to cover a lot of ground.

Enough time? Depends on if youve been to any of those places before. Some are really just the kind of place you could spend a couple hours in.

We had a blast, though. It felt like a mid 40s couple doing a teenage road trip. It was also at the height of covid so it was the kind of trip you could do without worrying about restrictions.

Day 1 - leave BR at 5 PM and drive straight through to Carlsbad Caverns. We did take a nap at a rest area. Then drive to Cloudcroft and spent the night.
Day 2 - White Sands and then to Tuscon to Saguaro for a night.
Day 3 - Saguaro to Sedona
Day 4 - Sedona
Day 5 - Sedona to Grand Canyon
Day 6 Grand Canyon
Day 7 - Grand Canyon to Monument Valley
Day 8 - Monument Valley
Day 9 - Monument Valley to Petrified Forest/Painted Desert to some town in New Mexico
Day 10 - drive all the way back
