Scott didn't throw many daggers back at him like we as fans would desire. I guess this is the game of politics
No, but the Louisiana Dem party did. I hate to say I actually agree with the letter they wrote to Landry.

The people of Louisiana entrusted Governor Jeff Landry to champion their interests, building upon the solid groundwork laid by former Governor John Bel Edwards. Engaging in divisive rhetoric that casts doubt on the abilities of some of Louisiana’s finest female athletes only serves to deepen rifts within our community.
Governor Landry’s recent remarks concerning our Lady Tigers basketball team echo the negative assumptions made by the LA Times regarding a talented group of young women. The Lady Tigers have consistently served as a unifying force at our flagship university, elevating women’s sports and attracting fans from diverse backgrounds to celebrate athletic prowess and female empowerment.
It’s important to recognize that athletes nationwide, across all levels, often miss portions of event openings due to their rigorous pre-game regimens. These individuals are tirelessly working towards achieving excellence, dedicating themselves to intense preparation, strategic planning, physical conditioning, and moments of reflection and prayer as they face their challenges head-on.
We urge Governor Landry to set aside divisive rhetoric and prioritize actionable measures aimed at enhancing education, expanding job opportunities, improving healthcare outcomes, upgrading infrastructure, and fostering safer communities for Louisiana families. These initiatives are crucial for the well-being and prosperity of our state, both now and in the future.
We commend the resilience of these young athletes, Coach Mulkey, and their families in the face of criticism from high-ranking officials, all while showcasing some of the finest athleticism our nation has to offer.

F’kn A. The Democratic Party in Louisiana is one of the most inept organizations ever, but they nailed it in their letter.
