We grow them I grand isle. My neighbor had a camp in grand isle and probably started the blue bonnets there along with my dad 35+ years ago. The last few years they took a hit with storms. This year they are looking pretty good. If you see the ones across from Sureway those were where they started.

We usually go to Ennis to see bluebonnets. We saw them along highway coming back from
Toledo Benn two years ago as it’s close to TX.

are y’all collecting seed and re sowing or just letting them seed themselves? Makes sense that they will re seed in grand isle, similar poor soils with lots of calcium as in hill country. The Edwards plateau in Texas used to be a sea bed
