You don’t know baseball. What was the score? Where was the right fielder playing? What was the pitchers fielding percentage?
Where was the third baseman playing?
How fast was the runner at first?

And more questions than that. So, if you understand all of these questions, then maybe you’ll find your answer.

None of that matters because nobody on the roster can execute a simple bunt, much less place it in a specific area.
