False equivalency. Rich people crimes aren't violent crimes that keep normal people from moving to certain unsafe neighborhoods. If I saw Bernie Madoff (just an example, I am well aware that he is dead now) walking down the sidewalk, I wouldn't be afraid he was going to rob and kill me.
