this long thread is basically people pointing out that this has been going on you’re entire life and you never cared about it until someone on the field for the national anthem took a knee during it.
Respecting the anthem =\= everyone has to be in the room for it. it means everyone in the room should respect it.
This is a bullshite fake outrage and our Governor landed on the retard side and decided to throw red meat to mouth breathers like you rather than show a basic understanding of the first amendment or have his own states back.

So let's say this passes. What's next? If an athlete speaks out against the country do they also lose their scholarships? What about government workers?
How about a business that accepted any government aid or applied for any government program?
Like I'm honestly surprised at the amount of people who seriously want to get rid of the First Amendment. Maybe I shouldn't be, after all, both sides have been trying to censor Free Speech lately.
