I see farms forced to sell land to pay tax bills around me now.
I’d rather people move to where there is housing. I’m sick of places we own property being overrun.

Most Famers I know are very rich and take max advantage of every handout the Govt gives them, while employeeing mostly illegals they can pennies for salary. (bitching about building a wall the whole time)
I used to feel for Farmers during the "FarmAid" and 'Rain on the Scarecrow" days.
Until I actually started getting to "know them" and see how well they have it and how they take full advantage of every system possible. They don't need a hand out.

What kinda farming are these "farmers" you know doing? I grew up around rice/hay/sugar cane farmers... it was never about getting rich... and they are sure as HELL not rich.

They're having to react to market forces everyone else is living with.
It's not "raising taxes" it's removing a group from the elites given special treatment.
If this means that they have to adjust to a normalized market that literally everyone else lives in, then that's the opposite of Leftism.
